Flavours & Types of cake
Below is a list of flavours of cakes and coatings that I make; the design of your cake may affect the flavour and type that can be used, I am happy to help and discuss options.
I can also offer gluten free cakes in vanilla or chocolate.
Sponge cakes

- Carrot (with or without walnuts and sultanas)

It may help to know that my most popular sellers are;
- Vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream
- Vanilla sponge with strawberry buttercream
- Chocolate sponge with vanilla buttercream and a raspberry jam drizzle onto the bottom layer of sponge
- Chocolate sponge with a chocolate buttercream
- Vanilla sponge with a raspberry buttercream
- Lemon drizzle sponge with lemon buttercream
- Chocolate sponge with mint buttercream
- Chocolate sponge with raspberry buttercream

Fruit cakes
- Dark fruit cake with brandy (with molasses)
- Light fruit cake with brandy (without molasses)
- Dundee cake
Cupcakes
I can make any combination of cake base and toppings you require (Please contact me to discuss the types you’d like)
I can make alcoholic (adults only) cupcakes (Please ask for details)
There is a minimum of 12 per flavour/per order…..
Cupcakes can be topped and decorated however you want them to be :0)
My basic iced cupcakes start at £1.80 per cupcake.
Classic cupcake flavours are; Vanilla, chocolate, lemon, lime, chocolate orange, lime and strawberry, strawberry yogurt, Blueberry yoghurt, cherry yoghurt, chocolate almond, rum and raisin, chocolate mint, maple pecan, banana, apple and cinnamon, or most other flavours you may require.
Gateau
I can make most gateaus and teatime treats (Please contact me to discuss the type you want)
I offer a range of coatings and toppings for my cakes. (The choice may be affected by the type of cake you are having);

Italian meringue buttercream (different flavours and colours)
- Fresh cream (on gateaux and cupcakes)

Chocolate ganache (this is very good on sponge cakes when roll out icing is going to be used as a coating – it means a sharper edge on the cake)
* I do not make undecorated wedding or birthday cakes.
